BMW unveils exclusive M6 Convertible for 2015 MotoGP best qualifier
BMW has unveiled an exclusive M6 Convertible that will be awarded to the best qualifier in the 2015 MotoGP season. The car was unveiled at the Spanish Grand Prix 2015 at the Jerez Circuit. Since 2003, the rider with the best qualifying results come the end of the season has been awarded with an exclusive, individually customised BMW M car.
This special M6 Convertible has Frozen Blue Metallic exterior paint with Double-spoke style 20-inch BMW M light alloy wheels. It comes with Opal White Merino leather upholstery and BMW Individual Ash Grain White wood trim.
It is powered by a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 engine that puts out 560 horsepower with 680 Nm torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 4.3 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250 kph.The engine is mated to a dual clutch gearbox with Drivelogic. It also comes with Dynamic Damper Control, and Active M Differential.
