The new BMW M2 Coupe that was revealed earlier this month has gone into production at the company’s plant in Leipzig, Germany.
The M2 gets gets aggressive front styling with vertical slats in the kidney grille. It gets an aggressive front bumper along with flared wheels arches and quad pipes for the exhaust system. It comes shod with 19 inch forged aluminum alloy wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
Power comes from a 3.0 litre twin turbo six cylinder petrol engine developing 365 bhp and 464 Nm torque and 499 Nm with overboost. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 4.4 seconds when mated to a six speed manual gearbox. With the optional M double clutch gearbox, it takes just 4.2 seconds. Top speed is an electronically limited 250 kph.
