BMW i8 Spyder caught testing for the first time
The BMW i8 Spyder is on the cards and here are first ever pictures of the drop top sportscar testing on road.
There are some differences from the original concept shown n 2012. There are full height rear windows with a rear quarter glass and a slightly redesigned rear end. From the spy shots, it seems that the i8 Spyder will come with a removable targa stop that can be stored in the car itself.
The i8 Spyder is being developed alongside the facelift coupe that will come with significant updates. These include design changes, a longer range battery, a reworked version of the 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine, redesigned rear suspension and new gadgets. Both cars are expected to launch next year. BMWSource
