BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe facelift launched at Rs. 1.15 crore
BMW launched the 6 Series Gran Coupe facelift at the curtain raiser of the India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 at a price of Rs. 1.15 crore ex showroom Delhi. The India Bridal Fashion week will be held in seven cities across India in the coming months. Actress Sonakshi Sinha was the show stopper at the curtain raiser.
The Gran Coupe facelift gets nine slats on the trademark kidney grille and restyled LED headlights as standard. It gets new front and rear bumpers along with new alloy wheels. Adaptive LED headlights with anti-dazzle high beam assistant are available as an option on the Gran Coupe. There are chrome plated tail pipe finishers and the ORVMs get light strips as turn indicators.
Coming to the interior, the car gets new two tone upholstery in leather. The iDrive Touch Controller and gear selector both get ceramic embellishers. It also gets a free standing Control Display with glass casing and galvanised surround. The centre console gets high gloss surfaces in a black finish.
Mechanically the 6 Series Gran Coupe is powered by a 3.0 litre twin turbo diesel putting out 313 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.4 seconds and goes to a top speed of 250 kph. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox.
