Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the India bound GLC SUV at the Auto Expo 2016. It is expected to launch later this year.
The GLC replaces the GLK in the international market. It sits between the GLA crossover and the GLE SUV. In India, it will rival the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. The company has not given any information on the choice of engines that will be offered for the Indian market but the SUV will comes with DYNAMIC SELECT with five standard driving modes. ECO, COMFORT, SPORT, SPORT+ and INDIVIDUAL. It will also come equipped with the Off-Road Engineering package. It also gets the 9G-Tronic nine speed automatic gearbox. The model on display at the Expo is a GLC 300 4MATIC.
Mercedes-Benz has displayed 12 products at the Auto Expo 2016 that include the G 500 4×4², Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard and the Mercedes-AMG W04 Formula 1 car.
