Hyundai unveiled their compact SUV concept called the HND-14 Carlino at the Auto Expo 2016. The company has confirmed that the length of this compact SUV will be under 4 metres.
The concept gets aggressive chunky styling, far from the fluidic lines that we see in the Hyundai cars of today. There is a large hexagonal grille complimented by slim slit style headlamps. The outer rear view mirrors have a very stylish slim design and the concept is shod with large alloy wheels with oversized tyres. The muscular rear end gets angluar tail lamps along with the exhaust mounted in the centre of the rear bumper. The HND-14 also gets roof rails.
The interior features a plug and play platform where buyers will be able to customize interios according to their taste. Features include interchangeable audio, visual and navigation units. Each item can be swapped in or out, thereby giving various options to the end user.
Other features include push start button, electric folding mirrors, six air bags and Hill Start Assist Control .
The HND-14 Carlino concept has been designed at the Hyundai Design Center in Namyang, South Korea. Hyundai hasnt confirmed when a production version will see the light of day but we expect it to be atleast a year away for now.
