Chevrolet displayed the Chevrolet Camaro SS at the Auto Expo 2016.
The Camaro SS is powered by a 6.2 litre LT1 V8 engine that develops 455 horsepower and 617 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in just 4 seconds. The engine is mated to an 8 speed automatic gearbox. A six speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching is also available,Apart from the standard Sport, Tour and Snow/Ice drive modes, the SS also gets a Track mode, which adjusts suspension, throttle response, exhaust note and interior spectrum lighting. Brembo brakes are standard on the Camaro SS.
Other features of the Camaro SS include 6 way electrically adjustable front seats, heated front seats, sunroof, flat bottom steering with mounted controls and Premium Bose surround sound system.
Chevrolet has no plans of launching the Camaro in India atleast for now but we hope that the launch of the Ford Mustang starts a new trend and more American muscle make their way to our shores.
