Audi SQ5 revealed at Detroit Auto Show
The 2018 Audi SQ5 has been revealed at the Detroit Motor Show. This model with sit at the top of the Q5 range.
The Audi SQ5 is powered by a 3.0 litre TFSI V6 engine that develops 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The SQ5 goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph(limited). It comes wwith Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system. There is also a Sport Package on offer which comprises of a sport rear differential for better handling.
The SQ5 gets a new suspension as well. There is a five link set up at the front and rear and the SUV also gets adaptive air suspension that can drop the ride height by 30 mm. Apart from the standard comfort, auto, dynamic and individual, there two additional drive modes. Dynamic steering is also offered as an option.
The exterior features the trademark S front grille, which Audi calls ‘Singleframe’. There are aluminium covers for the ORVMs and a rear spoiler. There are all LED headlamps and trail lamps with 3 D design and dynamic turn indicators. The SUV rides on 20 inch alloys standard with 21 inchers available as an option.
On the interior, the SQ5 gets sport seats with double stitching as an option, flat bottom steering wheel, aluminium inserts in the dashboard with carbon fibre as an option, latest gen MMI infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Audi Virtual Cockpit system with a 12.3 inch TFT screen is available as an option.
