Audi Q2 Interior

Get inside and you are greeted by a typical Audi interior. While the overall appearance is slightly dated after seeing the cabin layouts of Audi’s recent models, fit and finish is top notch and there are lots of soft touch surfaces all around including the dashboard. The Q2 gets the swanky Virtual cockpit and I love the sporty flat bottom steering wheel. The dashboard inlay that features quattro lettering gets 10 colour ambient lighting, while the circular AC vents look classy. However there is no touch screen for the MMI infotainment system, which is quite shocking considering touchscreens are the norm even in hatchbacks today. The same goes for the front seats that do not get electric adjust.  You get dual zone climate control, a wireless charging pad in the arm rest and a large electric sunroof as well. It isn’t a panoramic unit though.

The front seats are comfortable and offer good support. It is easy to find the ideal driving position, though the manual adjuster for the back rest takes bit of an effort. The rear is reasonably comfortable with ample headroom and knee room. The back of the front seats are also scooped out a bit to offer more space. However the seat base is short and that results in less under thigh support. There are two USB C Type sockets for the rear passengers as well. The 405 litre boot is good enough to carry a sufficient amount of luggage and there’s a space saver spare wheel under the boot floor.
