The Aston Martin DB11 has made its debut in India with prices starting at Rs. 4.27 crore ex showroom Delhi. The car is currently being showcased across major Indian cities.
The Aston Martin DB11 features a clamshell bonnet with front hinges along with LED headlamps. There is steeply raked windshield and fins on the front fenders. The roof flows in single flow towards the rear. There are neatly sculpted tail lamps that are integrated into the boot along with dual exhausts. Front-end lift is reduced by the gill-like Curlicue which releases high-pressure air from inside the wheel arch via a concealed vent within the redesigned side-strake. The rear end lift is reduced by the Aston Martin AeroBlade. This is a virtual spoiler that gets air from the air intakes at the bottom of the C pillar. On the interior, the DB11 features a 12 inch TFT LCD screen for the instrumental cluster. An 8 inch TFT screen is mounted o the centre console for the on board infotainment system, that can be controlloed by a rotary dial or an option touch pad. Other features include a Bang & Olufsen sound system, navigation, Auto Park Assist with a 360 degree camera. The Aston Martin DB11 is powered by a 5.2 litre twin tubo V12 engine that is entirely developed in house. The motor develops 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The DB11 goes from 0 to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 322 kph. The engine is mated to an eight speed ZF automatic gearbox. The DB11 also gets three drive modes – GT, Sport and Sport Plus. The car also gets a new electric power steering unit along with Torque Vectoring. Deliveries for the Aston Martin DB11 will begin in the fourth quarter of 2016.
