The Lamborghini Huracan Avio has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 3.71 crore ex showroom Delhi.
The name, colours and the material special Edition Raging Bull pays tribute to the world of aviation and aeronautics. Only 250 units of the car will be made.
The Lamborghini Huracan Avio gets only visual enhancements. There is choice of five colours specifically developed for this edition: The standard color of Grigio Falco with pearlescent finish, and four optional matt colors: Blu Grifo, Grigio Nibbio, Grigio Vulcano and Verde Turbine. The colours names are taken from the coats-of-arms representing courses at the Italian Air Force Academy. The doors feature the L63 logo, where the L stands for Lamborghini and ‘63 is the year the company was founded. A tricolor cockade, the symbol distinguishing nationality used in aeronautics, is placed between the letter and the number. There is a double strip that can be ordered in either white or grey which runs along the roof and down the front bonnet. The interior of the Huracan Avio features black leather with a special Alcantara, also in black but boasts a laser-engraved hexagonal motif, is available for the first time on the Avio. It covers the central section of the seat, the armrest, the knee support and part of the door panel, and is enhanced with contrasting stitching in white. The L63 logo is embroidered by hand onto the sides of the seats. The interiors can also be customized through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program. There is also a hand-enameled plate on the driver’s side window. Other standard features on the Huracan Avio include front lifting system, cruise control and GPS.Mechanically it remains unchanged. It is powered by a 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that develops 610 horsepower. Transmission duties are handled by a seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. 0 to 100 kph comes up in 3.2 seconds and the car has a top speed of over 325 kph.
