BMW has launched the all new 7 Series in India at a starting price of Rs 1.11 crore ex showroom Delhi. It is available in two variants: Design Pure Excellence and M Sport.
The new 7 Series is more larger, has more space than its predecessor and comes loaded with technology. It gets features like Gesture Control, Remote Control Parking, BMW Display Key, BMW Touch Command System, Wireless Charging and Sky Lounge. Power for the new 7 Series comes from two engines. A 3.0 litre twin turbo straight six diesel engine that develops 261 bhp and a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 petrol motor that develops 444 bhp.
The 730ld in Design Pure Excellence and M Sport will be locally produced at the BMW plant in Chennai. You can however also order the 730ld Design Pure Excellence as a CBU with options from BMW Individual. The two petrol variants of the new 7 Series are available as fully imported CBUs. They can also be configured using BMW Individual. The new 7 Series will rival the Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 and the Jaguar XJ in the Indian market.
