Volvo XC90 Excellence revealed
Volvo has revealed the top of the line version of its flagship XC90 SUV called the Excellence Edition. It will be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show that begins next week and gets a host of new features.
The rear seats are replaced by two captain seats with massage function. There is a new Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 19 speakers, retractable touch screens, folding tables and a refrigerator with bottle and glass holders. You also get ambient lighting and noise cancelling tyres. Volvo has also fitted the Excellence with a new type of air conditioning system that removes dust in the air inside the car. There is also more legroom.
The XC90 Excellence will go on sale in select international markets later this year and will rival the Range Rover SVAutobiography but Volvo has said that it wont be available in the UK.
The XC90 has got 24,000 orders since it was unveiled in August last year. Volvo will open pre bookings for the SUV in India from May 2015 and launch is slated for September this year.
