The Ferrari GTC4Lusso and the GTC4Lusso T have been launched in India at Rs. 5.2 crore and Rs. 4.2 crore ex showroom pan India respectively. The GTC4Lusso is the facelift version of the FF.
The GTC4Lusso is powered by the same 6.3 litre V12 engine that did duty in the FF but now develops 680 bhp at 8000 rpm. Maximum torque stands at 697 Nm with 80% of that coming from 1750 rpm. The car goes from 0 to 100 kph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 335 kph. The engine is mated to a seven speed dual clutch gearbox.
The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T features a 3.9 litre twin turbo V8 engine that does duty in the California T. The engine develops 610 bhp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 760 Nm coming up between 3000 and 5250 rpm.
Like the FF, the GTC4Lusso is also equipped with four wheel drive but comes with rear wheel steering for the very first time. Ferrari calls this new patented system, 4RM-S (four-wheel drive and steering) and is based on the latest evolution of the Slip Side Control (4.0). The system also features the electronic differential (E-Diff) and the SCM-E dampers. Ferrari says that the car can handle the extraordinary torque even on snow-covered, wet or low grip roads thanks to these systems.
Unlike its bigger V12 sibling, the GTC4 Lusso T comes in rear wheel drive guise only. This makes the car lighter by 80 kg. It comes with rear wheel steering that is with the latest evolution of the electronic controls of the SCM-E suspensions, ESP 9.0 and third generation Side Slip Control (SSC3).
The GTC4Lusso gets some new styling updates. It comes with a new front grille with integrated air intakes, large air vents on the front fenders, Ferrari signature twin tail lamps, roof mounted rear spoiler and a new triple fence diffuser. The curve of the roof has also been lowered but still retains space for all four occupants as well as ample boot space. On the interior, the GTC4Lusso gets a Dual Cockpit layout. This is the first Ferrari to debut the new infotainment system that features a 10.25 inch HD screen. The steering wheel is also smaller than before due to a smaller airbag. Ferrari says the steering controls are more ergonomic than before.
