The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most off-roaders since like forever. Nothing short of an icon, the iconic shape is one that sits in the heart of every enthusiast. Not to mention its legendary capabilities. The Wrangler has been on sale in India for a while now and even went the local assembly way in the current generation. Jeep has now given the Wrangler a refresh to make it more appealing. I spent a few days driving the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon facelift to see what’s new.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Exterior

There’s not much to distinguish the updated model as compared to the earlier one in terms of styling. The trademark 7 slat grille is blacked out and is larger than before. It houses a front camera with a washer. The front windshield is now Gorilla glass which makes it tough to stand abuse during off-roading. The antenna has also been integrated into the windshield. The absence of the physical antenna does take away some of the cool factor in my opinion. 17 inch alloys and mud terrain (MT) tyres are standard on the Rubicon seen here while the Unlimited variant gets 18 inch wheels with all terrain tyres. It gets larger approach, breakover and departure angles at 43.9 degrees, 22.6 degrees and 37 degrees. Ground clearance stands at 237mm. The rear sees no changes. There is the split tail gate with a mounted spare tyre. The rear view camera is located on the spare wheel.
