2024 Audi Q8 Interior

Getting inside the 2024 Audi Q8, the first things you notice are the frameless doors that get the soft close function. Neat I say. And oh when you open the doors in the dark you have lizard along with the Audi logo projected on the floor. Audi’s way of reminding you that you are driving a quattro. Once in, you notice that nothing has really changed from earlier. The three screens for the instrument cluster, infotainment an climate control are pleasing to the eyes. The third screen for climate control has haptic touch but will still need you to take eyes off the road when operating. The dashboard layout is clean and ‘quattro’ badging on the passenger side is a nice touch. The metallic surfaces reek of quality and the gear lever design is something I really dig. Features are a plenty. You get four zone climate control, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera and a fabulous bang & Olufsen sound system. What does it miss out on? Ventilated seats, wireless Carplay and Android Auto and ADAS are somethings that can be highlighted.

The seats themselves are very comfortable. The ones at the front are large and are very supportive.   What’s even better is the space at the rear. There’s more than enough legroom and kneeroom even for tall passengers. Headroom, which is generally a compromise in SUV coupes is more than enough in the Q8 as well. The rear bench can also slide forward for more boot space. Standard boot space is 605 litres that can expand to 1755 litres with the rear seats folded.
