The Tata Tiago EV is a more calm and relaxed driving experience.
Tata Tiago EV Interior
Just like the exterior, the interior layout it similar to the petrol engine sibling. Fit and finish is good overall. You get a dual tone black and white dashboard along with blue accents all over. The flat bottom steering feels nice and there is the 7 inch Harman touchscreen with bunch of connected features via the ZConnect app. There is white leatherette upholstery with blue stitching which feels premium. It could only be hard to clean and more prone to get dirty easily. The Tiago EV gets a rotary gear selector, regen buttons and a button to release the charging cable from the port. There are located below the touch screen. Other features include auto climate control, digital instrument cluster that shows range and percentage of battery remaining, Android Auto, Apple Carplay, auto headlamps, rain sending wipers and a superb sounding eight speaker Harman audio system.
The front seats felt comfortable while legroom at the rear is quite adequate. The rear seat has a good angle for the backrest though headroom will be at a premium for tall occupants.
Boot space stands at 240 litres that is 2 litres less than the regular Tiago. The car doesn’t get a spare tyre either because that space is taken up by the batter. You do however get a puncture kit. The portable charging cable is also placed in a neat case in the boot.
