2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ride & Handling
The Grand Cherokee comes with a multi-link suspension set up. No air suspension here though the international model gets it. Jeep knows a thing or two about suspension and the ride quality is here is pretty impressive. The SUV just flies over potholes and bad roads. However at high speeds there is some vertical movement expecially when you go over expansion joints on the road Around the corners, the Grand Cherokee behaves typical of a tall two tonne SUV. There is prominent body roll and going fast into turns will unsettle it. It is best driven in a relaxed manner. Straight line stability is excellent and this behemoth hold the road well. Braking is powerful and does the job well. Sharp braking will result in some nose dive though. The emergency braking assist will apply sudden brakes if something comes in front of the car like say an animal or pedestrian.
2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Verdict
The Grand Cherokee is priced at Rs. 80.50 lakh ex showroom. Thats way more less than what the 4th gen model was introduced at. Also that makes it substantially less priced than the European competition. It might not be fun to drive outright as an enthusiast but it will take you where others will not dare to. The turbo petrol engine is likeable and the feature list will keep you happy. It also built tough as a tank. Not to mention the street presence. So if you want a premium SUV that can do it all and not make a noise when going about it, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is a standout and gives you so much SUV for the price.
