The Lexus ES300h offers a very sublime driving experience with its hybrid powertrain.
I have always loved the Lexus ES300h for its no nonsense nature and sublime driving experience. Add Japanese precision and reliability to the mix and the this sedan makes a great proposition. Lexus has updated this luxury sedan last year as part of a midlife facelift. This 7th gen car has been around since 2018. I spent some time with it to see what’s new. Here’s all you need to know about the 2021 Lexus ES300h.
2021 Lexus ES300h Exterior
The first thing you notice is the redesigned trademark Lexus front grille which now gets beveled L shaped elements that look 3 dimensional. The all LED headlamps also get a slight styling tweak but you have look closely to notice the difference. There are new design 18 inch alloy wheels that add to the character of the car and even the bumpers get slight updates. Overall the ES now gives vibes of the larger LS500h when you look at it from a few angles.
2021 Lexus ES300h Interior
Coming to the interior, the biggest highlight is the new 12.3 inch touchscreen. The previous one was a non touch screen unit and was fidgety to use via the track pad. This new one is slick has better graphics and even touch response is great. It is also angled more towards the driver. Also, in this era of touch functionality, having physical buttons on the dashboard is a good thing something that I personally like. The walnut trims on the steering, dashboard, door pads give a very classy feeling. And don’t miss that awesome analogue clock. It adds to the luxury quotient pretty much. Both the front and rear leather seats are very comfortable and the rear back rest can be reclined as well. Plus you get ventilation for the front seats as well. The tri zone climate control works like a charm and now you also get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally there is a wireless smartphone charger and sun blinds for the windows and rear windshield.
