The 2021 Kia Sonet has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 6.79 lakh ex showroom. Apart from the new Kia logo, the Sonet comes with an updated feature list as well.

New variants to the 2021 Kia Sonet model line up include the HTX 1.0 Turbo petrol with 7 DCT and HTX with the 1.5 litre diesel and torque converter automatic gearbox.

The lower variants of the Sonet now gets features like sunroof, Smart Key with push button start, chrome door handles, crystal cut alloy wheels. Additional safety features to the lower variants include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC).

The updated Kia Sonet comes with 10 new features that include, Rear door sunshade curtains and voice command for sunroof open/close, multi drive and traction mode.

The automatic variants of the Kia Sonet will now feature paddle shifters. The engine and gearbox options remain unchanged. The Sonet is offered with 2 petrol and one diesel engine option. The 1.2 petrol comes with a 5 speed manual while the 1.0 Turbo has a choice of the iMT or the 7DCT gearboxes. The 1.5 diesel comes with the choice of a 6 speed manual of 6 speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
