After launching the brand in India with the CBU Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler SUVs, the Compass was the first locally made product by Jeep for India. It was launched in India in 2017, and that was when we drove it first. We loved it for its build quality, ride, handling, the brilliant diesel engine and its 4×4 capabilities. Now Jeep has given the Compass a facelift for 2021 and changes are more than superficial. So what’s new? Is it better than the older one? A few days with the 2021 Jeep Compass answered those questions. Read on.
2021 Jeep Compass Exterior
There are no major changes to the exterior of the 2021 Compass. Still, the updates enhance the character of this SUV. The front grille and the Jeep logo on the bonnet are finished in matte grey and look fantastic. Also notice that the grille has faux air intakes, as the actual air intakes are lower below. The front camera of the 360 degree camera package is also located in the centre of the front grille. The new LED headlamps look smashing and there are new white fog lamps inside the front bumper. Moving on to the side, there are new 18 inch diamond cut alloy wheels that sit perfectly in the squared wheel arches. Our test car featured a grey contrast roof giving a floating effect and this new Galaxy Blue paint looks absolutely smashing. The rear gets new LED tail lamps and even the tail gate gets a matt grey Jeep logo.
