The Range Rover Evoque made a huge style statement when the first generation model came out. Staying close to concept, it was drop dead gorgeous and carved a design silhouette that was followed by the bigger Range Rover models. Now after almost a decade, the baby Range Rover is here in its second generation. And boy is it a looker too !!! But there’s a lot more to it than what meets the eye. So let’s get down to business and see what the new 2020 Range Rover Evoque is all about.
2020 Range Rover Evoque Exterior
As I said above, the Range Rover Evoque was always stunning to look at in its first generation and the new model is no different. Infact, the design and styling is very similar to the Velar, which is not a bad thing at all. You might actually get confused when looking at it from the dead front or the rear. The new Evoque is 11 mm longer, 6 mm wider, 14 mm taller and wheelbase has increased by 21mm when compared to the predecessor. The sweeping slim LED headlamps look classy and feature signature Land Rover daytime running lamps. The front grille gets a hexagonal design and the bumper features slits on either side. The side view reveals the steeply raked windshield and the downward sloping roof line. Also, the Evoque gets flush door handles that pop out when you unlock it, just like in the Velar. The 18 inch alloys fill the wheel arches nicely, though the design could have been more sporty in my opinion. The rear features a small windshield along with slim LED tail lamps with sharp design elements. The rear bumper features a large two slat skid plate.
