The 2020 Audi Q8 has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 1.33 crore ex showroom. The Q8 will sold as a CBU and only 200 units have been allotted to India. The Audi Q8 sits on top of the car maker’s Q series of models.
The Audi Q8 will on be available in 55TSI guise. It features a BS VI compliant 3.0 V6 petrol engine that puts out 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It also features a 48V Mild Hybrid system. The Q8 goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph. The quattro all wheel drive system comes as standard. Transmission duties are handled by an eight speed automatic gearbox and there are 7 Drive Modes as well.
The Q8 measures 4.99 metres in length, 2 metres width and a height of 1.71 metres. It has a wheelbase of 3 metres. On the exterior it features a large single frame front grille flanked by Matrix LED headlamps. There are frameless doors, a panoramic sunroof, coupe style roofline and full width tail lamps.
On the interior, the Q8 features dual screens for the new gen MMI infotainment system and touch response, four zone climate control, wrap around dashboard layout, virtual cockpit and multi function steering wheel.
Safety features include 8 airbags, ABS, EBD, Audi Presense Basic, Audi Park Assist and ESP.
