Tata Motors has launched the 2018 Tata Tigor with prices starting at Rs. 5.20 lakh for the petrol model and Rs. 6.09 lakh for the diesel. The updated Tigor comes with a number of new features.
On the exterior, the 2018 Tigor gets dual chamber projector headlamps with chrome elements inside, 15 inch alloy wheels in dual tone finish and LED turn indicators in the ORVMs with auto fold function.
The cabin features black and grey interiors. faux leather seats, rear armrest with cup holders and a premium roof liner. The range topping XZ+ gets a 7 inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto. The screen also doubles up as a display for the rear view camera. Other features include driver’s seat height adjust and automatic climate control.
Mechanically the Tigor remains unchanged. It is still powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine putting out 85 horsepower and a 1.05 litre diesel engine good for 70 horses. While the diesel engine is mated to a five speed manual gearbox, the petrol engine offers the choice of a five speed manual or AMT gearbox. However the AMT is not available in the top end XZ+ trim.
The 2018 Tata Tigor comes in 6 exterior colours: Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey.
