The Mercedes-AMG E63 S also comes with a Drift Mode. This mode sends all power to the rear wheels. The mode can be activated in the Race mode using the paddle shifters as long as the ESP is switched off and the gearbox is in manual mode. The Drift Mode remains active till it is switched off again by the driver.
Other features include pecially tuned Air Body Control system, new suspension, a mechanical rear differential lock, three-stage ESP, and an electromechanical speed-sensitive sports steering. Cermanic brake discs are optional.On the exterior, the E63 and E63 S gets an AMG grille and bumpers, flared wheel arches, 19 inch alloys (20 inch in the S), quad exhaust pipes and rear spoiler. The interior features a sport flat bottom steering wheel finished in black leather and electroplated paddle shifters and front sport seats with black Nappa upholstery. AMG sport seats with integrated headrests can be ordered as an option.
The Mercedes-AMG E63 sedans will make their global debut as the Edition 1 on 16th November 2016 followed by a market launch in March 2017.
