2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift Interior

Once you step inside, you wont notice anything drastically different about the cabin. The dashboard has a similar design to the older car, is nicely laid out and has good quality throughout. It comes finished in dual tone but the beige is a slightly different shade to what you usually see in other cars. What’s new to the 2018 Creta is the ton of new features that it comes with. There is an electric sunroof (an Indian buyer’s favourite), electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, wireless charging and auto dimming internal rear view mirror. There is also a revised instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system gets a software update from the new Verna and now features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The system is responsive and a joy to use. Hyundai now also offers connectivity to their Autolink app too. It can show you vehicle health, driving patterns, driving history, parking location and time, call for roadside assistance, book a service etc. Another nice touch is the small portable dustbin that sits in the centre cup holder. Hyundai has started offering this since March 2018 and is the car maker’s contribution the the ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiative.

Other standard features include auto climate control, steering mounted audio and phone controls, Arkamys audio system, rear AC vents, parking sensors with rear view camera. With so much equipment on offer, it is surprising that Hyundai choose to skip ventilated seats on the 2018 Creta. The cheaper Verna gets this useful feature. Also missing are auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers.
