Volvo has launched the updated versions of the V40 and V40 Cross Country hatchbacks in India.
The V40 siblings now come with Volvo’s signature Full-LED Thor’s Hammer headlamp cluster, a new waterfall design grille with the large Ironmark. On the interior, the V4 features 3 different leather trims, while the V40 Cross Country gets 5 trims including a dual tone theme. Both cars get new design alloy wheels.
Other standard features include full LED headlamps, Interior Air Quality System, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, keyless entry and drive, fixrd panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, high performance Sound System with Bluetooth and USB, Park Assist Pilot with front and rear Park Assist, rear camera and City Safety.
The V40 siblings come with a host of safety features including a world first Pedestrian airbag. Other safety features include 2 stage airbags with driver’s knee airbag, Dynamic stability and traction control, ABS with Emergency Brake Assist, Side impact protection and Whiplash protection.
The V40 and V40 Cross Country are powered by a sub 2.0 litre diesel engine that develops 150 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox that drives the front wheels. Volvo was the first car brand to introduce DPF as standard across our carlines. DPF reduces particle emission (PM2.5 & PM10) by atleast 95%.

Volvo has also inaugurated a new 3S facility in Kochi, Kerela. The showroom is spread over 8,000 sq feet and the adjoining workshop has latest experienced technicians to cater to customers.
