The 2017 Mercedes CLA facelift has been launched at a starting price of Rs. Rs 31.40 lakh for the CLA 200 Style diesel. The petrol CLA Sport is priced at Rs. at Rs 33.68 lakh and the diesel CLA 200 d Sport at Rs 34.68 lakh. All prices are ex showroom Mumbai.
The updated CLA sedan features a retstyled front bumper with a chrome lip. There is a diamond radiator grille and the car now comes with all LED headlamps. At the rear, the CLA features a redesigned bumper that now feature exhausts. The CLA comes with 17 inch 5 twin spoke alloy wheels finished in tremolite grey.
On the interior, updates include an 8 inch screen for the infotainment system. Android Auto and Aplle CarPlay is now standard on the CLA. The dashboard comes with a Sail pattern trim. The driver’s seat features electric adjust with memory function. A panoramic sunroof is also standard. Safety features include six airbags, Attention Assist, ESP and ABS. The CLA has reveived 5 stars in the EURO NCAP safety tests. 
The CLA 200 is powered by a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine that develops 184 horsepower and 300 Nm torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 7.1 seconds. The CLA 200 d features a 2.1 litre four cylinder diesel engine that develops 136 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It does the 0 to 100 kph sprint in 9 seconds. Both engines are mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. THE CLA features Dynamic Select that comes with 4 driving modes. Comfort, Sport, Eco and Individual.
The updated Mercedes CLA is available in 5 exterior colours.
The 2017 Mercedes CLA is the 12th product launched by the company in the Indian market in 2016. The company has announced that they will launch one more model before the year ends.
