The 2017 Audi A3 Cabriolet facelift has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 47.98 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Audi had first launched the drop top A3 in India just over two years ago.
The Audi A3 Cabriolet facelift features all LED headlamps, redesigned LED day time running lamps, a restyled hexagonal front grille and aggressive front and rear bumpers. The rear gets slightly revamped tail lamps. Rest remains unchanged.
On the interior, the A3 Cabriolet facelift gets leather upholstery, dual zone climate control, 7 inch screen for the MMI infotainment system, satellite navigation, front and rear parking sensors with a camera. An optional Bang and Olufsen sound system is also available with smart phone integration. Audi’s Virtual cockpit system if not offered on the A3 Cabriolet.The Audi A3 Cabriolet now comes with a 1.4 litre TFSI petrol engine, which is the same unit that is seen in the A4 petrol version. The earlier model featured the 1.8 litre TFSI engine. The 1.4 litre motor develops 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of maximum torque. The engine also gets the cylinder on demand feature that translates to better fuel efficiency.
Audi will launch the facelift A3 sedan and the A4 diesel later this month.
