2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible unveiled
Chevrolet has unveiled the 2016 Camaro Convertible and will reach dealerships early next year.
The new car is lighter than earlier car. It comes with an electro-hydraulic power roof featuring a multi-layer construction and also comes with acoustic and thermal barriers. The roof of the Camaro Covertible can be opened or closed at speeds up to 48 kph. It can also be remotely operated via the key fob when the car is stationary. There are latches to release and secure the top and the hard cover hides the folded top.
The Camaro Convertible will share engines with the coupe. It will come with a newly developed four cylinder 2.0 litre turbo charged engine pitting out 275 bhp 400 Nm torque. Additionally, a new 3.6 litre V6 will also be available with 335 bhp and 385 Nm torque. The top of the line SS will get a 6.2 litre V8 developing 455 bhp and 617 Nm torque.
