Abarth has announced updated versions of the 595 Competizione which is available as a hatchback or convertible.

The 2015 model gets a bump in power of 20 bhp over the older car taking power output to 180 bhp. with max torque of 250 Nm. This propels the car from 0 to 100 kph in 6.7 seconds and to a top speed of 225 kph. The  595 Competizione is powered by a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine.

The 2015 Abarth 595 Competizione comes with Brembo brakes, 17-inch alloys, red brake calipers, xenon headlights and rear parking sensors as standard. On the interior, it gets a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals, Sabelt sport seats while at an additional cost it can be configured with an electric sunroof, leather sport seats and four-speaker Interscope sound system with two tweeters. The standard no-cost Officina Red color has been replaced for the 2015 by a Campovolo Grey paint shade.

Fiat has delayed the India launch of the 595 Competizione for sometime now and it remains to be seen if we get the upgraded model when the car is eventually launched on our shores.
