Toyota Urban Cruiser Ride & Handling

Ride quality is fairly good, even though the suspension feels tuned on the stiffer side. It won’t unsettle you over potholes and even going around corners fast won’t be a bother because of controlled body roll. Braking is excellent, but steering feedback could have been better. It stays on the lighter side even at higher speeds.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Verdict

So why should you buy the Urban Cruiser over the Vitara Brezza? The top reason would be the standard 3 year/1,00,000 km standard warranty that Toyota offers compared to Maruti’s 2 year/40,000 tenure. Toyota’s service is also one of the best around. Other positives include spacious interiors, ease of driving and its quite a smart looking compact SUV with those styling changes. It does skip on a lot of modern day features that the competition offers, but if you are old school like me, this won’t be a deal breaker. Toyota could have priced it aggressively for this reason though. That said, for a little more than what you pay for the Brezza, you get a well rounded product that will last you long. And then there is the much loved Toyota badge as well.
