To celebrate 10 years of the Fortuner in India, Toyota has launched a special TRD Celebratory Edition of the SUV. The Toyota Fortuner TRD Celebratory Edition comes with cosmetic updates on the interior and exterior.

On the exterior, the Fortuner TRD Celebratory Edition gets sporty front bumper with black fog lamp inserts, TRD garnish on the front grille, dual tone roof, Fortuner ‘10 years ‘Leadership Emblem on the front fender, 18 inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels, rear bumper spoiler and TRD badging. The interior features Black & Maroon Leather upholstery with red stitching.

Mechanically the Fortuner remains unchanged. It is powered by a 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine putting out 177 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The engine comes with to 6 speed automatic gearbox. Four wheel drive is not available on this variant.

Safety features include 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and ISOFIX.

The Toyota Fortuner TRD Celebratory Edition is priced at Rs. 33.85 lakh ex showroom Delhi. The Fortuner rivals the Ford Endeavour and the Mahindra Alturas in the Indian market.
