Tata Tiago reaches milestone of 1 lakh units from Sanand plant
Tata Motors has achieved a big milestone as the car maker has rolled out the 1,00,000th Tiago hatch back from the Sanand in Gujarat. This has come just 19 months after the Tiago was launched in the Indian market on April 6, 2017.
Tata sold 93,299 units units of the Tiago till September 2017. The breakup of models comprised of 77,086 petrol versions. and 16,213 diesel versions. The petrol models have accounted for 83 percent of the total units sold.
The Tiago is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine developing 85 horsepower and a 1.05 litre diesel motor putting out 70 horses. The petrol comes with the choice of a five speed manual or an AMT gearbox, while the diesel gets only a 5 speed manual transmission.
The hatchback is available in five variants in petrol and diesel each with prices ranging from Rs. 3.21 lakh and going up to Rs 5.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
