The Tata Nexon AMT has been launched at a price of Rs. 9.41 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs. 10.3 lakh for the diesel ex showroom Delhi.
The Nexon HyprDrive comes with a 6 speed automated manual transmission. It is the first AMT to come with multi drive modes. There are three drive modes on offer: ECO, CITY and SPORT and the gearbox gets manual tip-tronic function as well. Other features include Creep function, Smart Hill Assist, anti-stall, kick down feature and fast off. The Nexon AMT also gets a new Etna Orange body paint shade with a Sonic Silver dual tone roof. Additionally it comes with a wearable PEPS key which owners will b able to wear it as a wristband.
Engine options remain unchanged. The Nexon is powered a 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel engine that puts out 110 horsepower and 260 nm of torque and a 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine that develops 110 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque.
Safety features include dual airbags, height adjustable seat belts and ABS with EBD.
The Nexon AMT gets a new Etna Orange exterior paint with a Sonic Silver dual-tone roof. Other features include a 6.5 inch touch screen infotainment system, 8 speaker sound system by Harman Kardon and Android Auto.
