Tata Motors has rolled out the 1000th Nexon EV from the Pune plant. This milestone has been achieved in just over six months of the market launch.
The Nexon EV comes with Tata’s new Ziptron technology for EVs. It is powered by a 30.2 KWh lithium-ion battery combined with an electric motor that produces 129 hp and 245 Nm of torque. The Nexon EV does the 0 to 100kph sprint in 9.9 seconds and has a restricted top speed of 120kph.
Features across the variants include automatic climate control, 7 inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Harman audio system, keyless entry and go, 16 inch alloy wheels, dual tone colour options, The XZ+ Lux gets an electric sunroof, auto headlamps and auto wipers.
A standard 15 Amp AC charger can charge the Nexon EV to 100 percent in 8 hours. A fast DC charger can charge the car from 20 to 80 percent in the span of an hour. Tata Motors is offering an 8 year/1,60,000 km warranty on the battery and electric motor. The standard vehicle warranty is for 3 years/ 1,25,000 kms with the option to extend it to 5 years.
