The Skoda Octavia RS was a sell out when it was launched in India just over a couple of years ago and it left enthusiasts wanting for more. But there is good news as the Octavia RS has made a a comeback and was on display at the Auto Expo 2020. And it is back as the more powerful Octavia RS245 now available at an ex showroom price of Rs. 35.99 lakh.
The Octavia RS245 will be sold in India as a CBU and we will get only 200 units of the car. Bookings will open on March 1 at 12pm and deliveries will take place in April. So if you want one, better keep those cheque books ready.
The 2.0 litre four cylinder TSI petrol engine in the Octavia RS245 makes 245 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox and the car goes from 0 to 100 kph in just 6.6 seconds. Top speed stands at 250 kph.
As far as features go, the Octavia RS245 gets a sporty body kit, sporty 18 inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, tail-lamps, fog lamps, daytime running lights, steel exhaust tips and a boot spoiler.
On the interior, it gets sports seats, Alcantara upholstery, Virtual cockpit, 8 inch touch screen infotainment system, carbon fibre trims, flat bottom steering wheel and a sunroof.
Skoda will bring the all new Octavia to India later this year.
