Renowned French carmaker, Renault, launched the all-new Triber in the Indian market sometime back. Managing to offer 7 seats in a sub-4-meter package, the Triber is indeed a popular car in the MPV segment. However, with traffic conditions getting worse day by day, many buyers prefer to have the option of an automatic gearbox, which now is finally available with this MPV. This hassle-free AMT gearbox will be available with the RxL, RxT and RxZ variants of the car, at a premium of INR 40,000 over their manual counterparts. Listed below are the ex-showroom prices of these variants
- RxL AMT – INR 6.18 Lakh
- RxT AMT – INR 6.68 Lakh
- RxZ AMT – INR 7.22 Lakh
Powering the Renault Triber is a 1-litre three-pot petrol motor which is good for 72 hp and 92 Nm of torque. This car also comes loaded with features which include a semi-digital instrument cluster, an 8.0 in touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, AC vents in all three rows, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, power windows, a cooled glovebox and some more.
Apart from those features, safety has also been Renault’s top priority. As standard, the car comes with dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders and a high-speed alert system. Moreover, all seven seats come with three-point seatbelts. The higher trim models come with a total of four airbags and a parking camera. Renault is currently accepting bookings for this MPV online as well as through its application and deliveries can be expected to commence once the situation normalises.
