The Renault Captur crossover is all set for launch with the French car maker releasing a teaser along with the official announcement today.
Renault Captur details
The Renault Captur is expected to be powered by the same 1.5 litre diesel engine that does duty in the Duster but in a more powerful state of tune. It is also expected to come with a 1.5 litre petrol engine as well. Both engines will be mated to a manual gearbox. A conventional automatic or AMT box could follow later.
Features include a 7.0 inch touch screen infotainment system, dual tone interiors, LED headlamps with DRLs, navigation and Bluetooth.
The Renault Captur will sit above the Duster in Renault’s India lineup. Renault has also crossed the milestone of 300 dealerships across India. The current network of 300 dealership outlets across the country has been designed according to the RENAULTSTORE concept. RENAULTSTORE is a new generation of dealerships which has been conceptualized to best address the evolving needs of the customers by highlighting the value of the brand, products, services and accessories in a modern and more effective manner.
