To celebrate the UEFA EURO 2016 football tournament, German car maker Mercedes-Benz has launched ‘Sport Edition’ models of the A-Class, GLA and the CLA in India.
The Mercedes ‘Sport Edition’ cars will comprise of 54 units of the A-Class (to compliment the 54 teams participating in EURO 2016) and 108 units each of the GLA and CLA.
The Mercedes ‘Sport Edition’ A-Class features a black diamond grille along with an apron spoiler lip for the front bumper. The rear gets a ‘Sport Edition’ roof spoiler in the body colour of the car. The rear bumper also gets a diffuser. The ‘Sport Edition’ GLA and CLA come with an AMG body kit.
Standard features across all the Mercedes ‘Sport Edition’ cars include ‘Sport Edition’ badges, carbon fibre mirror covers, black hub caps, sporty pedals in stainless steel and black valve caps.
Mercedes is also offering special selection of One Team ‘Sport Edition’ merchandise and will be creating unique and appealing football kits in 26 of their showrooms across India. The set up will comprise a goal, artificial turf, cut outs of football players and a backdrop of fans cheering for the German national football team.
