Mercedes-Benz India held the 2019 Edition of the LuxeDrive initiative in Mumbai on the 16th and 17th of November in Mumbai. The LuxeDrive comprises of a number of activities for customers of the three pointed star to experience and enjoy.

The whole range of Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs were available for test drive. A special edition Mercedes-Benz watch was given those customers booking a car on the spot. Other highlights included self drive experiences on the specially created off-road with the GLS and GLE SUCs, pre-safe demos in the C-Class and E-Class a self drive slalom course with the CLA and GLA models.

Celebrity Chef Ranveer Brar conducted workshops on gourmet and food photography. He also gave live demos cooking up some of his culinary delights. Dishes curated by him was up on offer at the food trucks at the event. He is also set to introduce the Luxe Drive Culinary Academy, where entry is through participation in social media contests.

Live musical gigs were also part of the Luxe Drive in association with MTV with performances by Shubhangi Joshi Collective, The Yellow Diary, Mali and Mikhita Gandhi.

Mercedes-Benz India also hosted a live demo of the recently launched ‘Mercedes me’ Connect app at Luxe Drive Live Mumbai for customers. It enables customers to connect with their vehicles from anywhere and at any time. The ‘Mercedes me’ app will offer over 25+ unique features. Some key features are Remote lock-unlock, Parked Vehicle Locator, Send destination 2 car, Remote retrieval of vehicle status, Valet Protect, Speed Alert, Tele-diagnostics, etc.

A ‘Mind Games Zone’ and a section full of Mercedes-Benz merchandise were some other highlights.

The fifth edition of Luxe Drive Live in India, with Adrenaline, Gourmet and Music as the key pillars, will help us strengthen our brand reach and provide our customers with an immersive experience.”
