The AMG GT R, in its 2020 model year continues to be a ferocious track weapon. Powered by the 4-litre Biturbo V8 engine, the car offers a power output of 585 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine spins the rear wheels of the car via a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This combo is capable of pushing the car to 100 kmph from a standstill within 3.6 seconds. The exterior of the car is designed to be aerodynamic and is highlighted by abundant use of carbon fibre. The alloy wheels, measuring 19-inches in the front and 20-inches at the rear hold the rather large Ceramic brakes to stop the car. On the interior, the car is offered with multiple customisation options. The car also comes with the AMG Performance steering wheel, finished in black DINAMICA microfiber. The steering wheel can control the high definition screen located in the driver’s instrument console and also has buttons to switch into pre-set driving modes more conveniently. The car also retains its famous 9-step traction control system and rear-wheel steering.
Coming to the other car, the C 63 Coupe comes across as a rather beautiful looking car, with its 2-door body style. Combining the practicality of a regular C-Class with the capabilities of a sports car, the C63 strikes the optimum balance between power and usability. This car too comes with the 4-litre Biturbo V8 engine but is tuned to make 476 hp of peak power and 650 Nm of torque. Powering the rear wheels via a 9-speed G-Tronic gearbox, the car can reach 100 kmph in 4 seconds flat. The car comes with a number of features, including AMG sports suspension, a performance exhaust system, lightweight alloy wheels, a rear locking differential, panoramic sunroof and a 12.3-inch display with multiple display styles. Just the GTR, the C 63 also comes with a number of options to choose from, allowing customers to create a unique spec, suiting their own tastes.
