As part of its commitment and support to the Indian Government’s ‘Skill India’ initiative, German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the reputed Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
This is the first such educational institute in Karnataka to conduct Mercedes-Benz India’s Mechatronics course (ADAM) and also the first college in entire Southern India to run this course autonomously. The company is focused towards adapting to the fast changing requirements of the automobile industry for future, thus making the educated youth of the country employable and future ready.
The Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics (ADAM) is currently offered in eight reputed engineering colleges in India out of which five are CSR initiatives by Mercedes-Benz India and three are private colleges. The one year course has been designed by the Mercedes-Benz Global Training Centre and has so far 500 students have successfully completed the program.
