The 2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe has launched in India at a price of Rs. 76.70 lakh ex showroom. Mercedes-Benz India recently announced the commencement of local production of AMG models in India and the AMG GLC43 Coupe is the first AMG model to roll out of the Chakan plant in Pune.

The Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe is powered by the same 3.0 V6 petrol engine that was seen in the pre-facelift model. However it now develops 390 horsepower but torque remains the same at 520 Nm. The engine is mated to a 9 speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via the 4Matic all wheel drive system. The Coupe also features the Mercedes-AMG Ride Comfort Plus suspension, that adjusts dampers according to the drive modes.

On the exterior, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe gets the Panamericana front grille, LED headlamps, AMG bumpers, 20 inch alloy wheels, new diffuser, LED tail lamps and a boot lips spoiler.

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe features a 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster with AMG display screens, 10.25 inch touchscreen with Mercedes’ latest MBUX infotainment system, flat bottom sports steering wheel, AMG sports seats with Alcantara bits, red seat belts, Burmester sound system and wireless smartphone charging.

The safety features list includes 7 airbags, Active Brake Assist, Active Bonnet and PRE-Safe.
