Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4MATIC revealed
The Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4MATIC has officially been revealed prior to its debut at the upcoming New York Motor Show.
On the exterior, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 gets a new diamond radiator grille with a chrome slat and AMG badging. There are new front and rear bumpers with large air intakes up front and “BITURBO 4MATIC” lettering on the front fenders. It also features gloss black mirror caps and quad exhaust pipes finished in chrome. It is shod with 19 inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light alloy wheels and a staggered tyre set up: 235/55 R 19 at the front and 255/50 R 19 at the rear. The interior features a multi function flat bottom steering wheel in black leather and red contrast stitching along with sports seats as standard. It gets upholstery in black ARTICO man-made leather/DINAMICA microfibre with red top stitching. The instrument cluster consists of two round dials and a 5.5 multifunction display. The 3.0 litre V6 bi turbo petrol engine powering the GLC43 develops 367 horsepower and 520 Nm torque from 2500-4500 rpm. This gives it a 0 to 100 kph timing of 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. The motors comes mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox and comes equipped with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all wheel drive system. The 4MATIC system has a rear-biased torque distribution of 31 to 69 percent (front axle to rear axle). DYNAMIC SELECT is standard with five driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual.The Mercedes-AMG GLC43 comes with AIR BODY CONTROL air suspension.It gets the Adaptive Damping system ADS PLUS that can be adjusted in the three stages “Comfort”, “Sport” and “Sport Plus”.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4MATIC will go on sale later this year.
