Mercedes-Benz India will launch the new Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic in India on May 4 2018 at the Buddh International Circuit. The E63 S is the most powerful E-Class ever made by the Stuttgart car maker.
The E63 S is powered by a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 engine putting out a mind boggling 612 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.4 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250 kph. With the AMG Driver’s package, it will hit the 300 kph mark. The engine is mated to a nine speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. The engine also comes with the cylinder deactivation feature that shuts down four cylinders when driven in a sedate manner thus aiding fuel efficiency.
The most awesome feature of the E63 S is that it comes with a Drift Mode that turns it into a rear wheel drive monster. Other features include AMG sports suspension, electronic diff lock, dynamic engine mounts. Carbon ceramic brakes are available as an option.
As far as styling goes, the E63 S looks the part with aggressively styled bumpers, flared wheel arches, new front grille, quad exhaust pipes and 20 inch AMG alloys.
Mercedes offers the standard in global markets but has chosen to offer the range topping E63 S 4Matic in India.
The Mercedes-AMG E63 S will rival the all new BMW M5 in India.
