Maruti Suzuki has achieved a milestone of 400 Arena dealerships. It operates through three channels, namely Nexa, Arena and Commercial, that span across India as 2940 dealerships spread in 1860 towns and cities.
The concept of Arena was born in 2017 with the advent of internet based product research before purchasing of cars. Maruti thus decided to upgrade existing outlets to Maruti Suzuki Arena, employing digital support. In line with the same vision, the website has been overhauled, and the online and offline registration for test drives, integrated. Customers can now visit the showroom and enter their mobile number to get in touch with a relationship manager.
To further streamline the customer experience, tablet computers have been installed. They not only enable the customer to view the entire product range but customise their own choice of the car using the available options.
Apart from a fully restyled showroom with digital support and instant access to service, the showrooms have a “Coffee consultation area” and an owner’s lounge to encourage networking.
Maruti aims to convert all of its dealerships to Arena’s standard to consolidate customer experience across the nation.
The product line up under Arena’s jurisdiction includes the updated Alto facelift, WagonR, Celerio, Swift and Swift Dzire, the new Ertiga, Gypsy, Omni and the Eeco.
