Mahindra XUV300 Petrol AutoShift Exterior & Interior
On the exterior, everything remains largely unchanged. The only differentiator is an ‘AutoShift’ badge on the tailgate. There are two new dual tone paint finishes offered on the W8 (O) variants of the XUV300 Autoshift and a new Slate Grey shade on the W6, W8 and W8(O) manual variants. An optional sunroof is also available W6 variant onwards.
Like the exterior, there are no changes to the interior either. The cabin gets a dual tone theme and a touch screen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The dashboard is also nicely laid out, though the orange backlit screen on the centre console for the climate control display does look dated.
Mahindra XUV300 Petrol AutoShift BlueSense Plus
Another big upgrade that Mahindra is offering on the range topping variants of the AutoShift is the Blue Sense Plus. This connected car technology offers over 40 features that can be operated via smartphone app that is available on Android and iOS. The app allows you to live track your car, use geo fencing, time fencing, remote door lock/ unlock, control the AC and audio, remote car diagnostics like, tyre pressure, low fuel indication, distance to empty, engine idle alert, door open alert along with other functions that are part of today’s connected car tech packages. The app has a nice interface, good graphics and is very easy to use. It worked well during my drive and at no point did it crash or malfunction.
