When you start driving, what surprises you immediately is the refinement of this motor.

Mahindra XUV 3XO ADAS

Mahindra has equipped the XUV 3XO with first in segment Level 2 ADAS. Features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, high beam assist and traffic sign recognition. There are also blind spot assist cameras that display in the instrument cluster when you give the left or right indicator.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Safety

Safety kit includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, 3 point seat belts for all occupants, electronic stability control. The XUV300 had received 5 stars in the Global NCAP tests and I feel the XUV 3XO will go down the same path as well.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Verdict

Mahindra has gone out all guns blazing with the pricing. Starting at 7.49 lakh ex showroom, even the entry level model has a host of features as standard. Pricing undercuts its rivals and offers more features spec to spec. The engine and transmission options ensure there’s something for everybody. However I do feel that not offering a torque convertor in the diesel is sort of a lost opportunity. Sure it would make things pricey but at the same time, it would make for an excellent variant option.

With the XUV 3XO, Mahindra has made it clear that it wants to be a topper in the compact SUV segment. It is loaded with features, is well built, drives well has the SUV credentials you expect. Styling can be a point of discussion but I feel it is something that will grow on you with time. Should you buy one? If a truck load of feature and driving pleasure are something you are looking for in a compact SUV, the XUV 3XO will surely be right up your alley.
