Land Rover India has commenced booking for the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR and the SVAutobiography. Both models are creations of the Jaguar Land Rover SVO division.
The Sport SVR features an updated version of the 5.0 litre supercharged engine that now develops 567 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque that propels it from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds. The SVO engineers have focused on controlling pitch under heavy acceleration and braking, and changes to the damping hardware have improved turn-in, mid-corner grip and body control.
Other updates include a carbon fibre bonnet with the option of an exposed one, a revised front bumper that aids in enhanced cooling and braking. On the interior it features light weight SVR performance seats.
The SVAutobiography is available in standard wheelbase (2920mm) in Dynamic trim featuring a 5.0 litre V8 supercharged engine that puts out 558 hp and 700 Nm torque. You can also opt for the long wheelbase version (3120 mm) that comes with a choice of 5.0 litre V supercharged engine with 558 horsepower and 700 Nm or a 4.4 litre V8 with 335 hp and 740 Nm of torque.
On the exterior, the SVAutobiography gets body-coloured side vent graphics with bright chrome inserts, chrome door handle surrounds and tail gate finisher. It comes with the option of 21 or 22 inch alloy wheels. The SVAutobiography Dynamic features a tuned chassis, steering, exhaust and suspension and sits 8 mm lower than a standard Range Rover. It gets Land Rover branded red brake calipers and 21 inch alloys.
On the interior, the SVAutobiography gets a power deployable centre console with premium veneer finishers and a host of seating variations including 24-way ‘Hot-Stone’ massage seats in the front. Other features include Power Close rear doors, a concealed refrigerator, Pixel-Laser LED headlights with Signature DRLs and a Meridian Signature sound system.
